About Art : Dhokra art originally indicates a sect of metalsmiths who designs tribal art pieces that presents the unadulterated culture of Jharkhand, Chattisgarh etc. This sort of metal casting has been used in India for over 4,000 years and is still used. Each metal craft uniquely blends the true culture of local tribes and folk civilizations that majorly attracts the art lovers. 

   In this metal craft, the craftsman firstly subcultures a wax model of the object he wants to make. Then, he makes a mould of clay and pours molten metal into a hole in the mould. Finally, the wax melts and the clay is broken away to bring out the metal object, which is then smoothed and polished to perfection.
